MarketSpell is a marketplace of independent Canadian sellers. It's the responsibility of each vendor to publish their policies in regards to refunds, exchanges and returns. From your Seller Dashboard you can publish your store's Terms & Conditions as well as your Shipping & Refund Policy.
If a buyer would like to request a return they will use the seller support of the platform to contact you directly. If the request is in accordance with your Refund Policy and you would like to offer a refund please follow these steps:
1.1 Login to http://dashboard.stripe.com/
1.2 Go to Payments and select the applicable order. Next please click on the Refund button and enter the value you would like to refund.
1.3 The Order Status will change to Refunded or Partially Refunded, depending on the amount.
1.4 Now go back to MarketSpell and from your Seller dashboard, go to Orders and click on the applicable Order ID.
1.5 In the Orders page, click on Request Refund and enter the value you would like to refund.
1.6 Next change the Order Status to Refunded. The buyer will receive an email indicating that the order status has been changed to refunded.
Please note that when you submit a refund request from your Seller Dashboard in MarketSpell we will receive a request to refund our transaction fee. We will proceed with the refund when we receive your request. However, we will not be able to refund the Stripe Processing fee.
